Last year, Burslem was selected as one of a few areas to take part in a government pilot scheme to look at practical ways to help people to both get instant access to their cash and also to make it go further. Some of the ways we are doing this are explained below.
How can I get hold of my cash in Burslem?
1. Post Office
Your bank is now in your Burslem Post Office
It’s a free way to access your high street bank account for personal or business customers.
Your Burslem Post Office has been refurbished, so that it can offer you an even better service to support your personal banking. We’re excited to announce that the branch will also be equipped with one of our new self-service cash deposit machines, offering you a faster and more convenient way to deposit your cash, with no need to queue for the counter.
Customers across virtually all banks can withdraw and deposit cash, deposit cheques, pay bills, and more at their Post Office. Small businesses will also be able undertake a range of banking services from the branch such as depositing their takings and withdrawing cash, along with business change giving.

The ATM situated on Market Place, between Wrights and the Vape Store, is free to use, so you are able get access to your cash free of charge from here. The ATM is available 24/7.
